Catherine Perrin and Pierre Thibault are our guest for a conversation on La Véranda, the architectural work created in 2021 to offer a performance space for artists a place which brings us joy. The event is one of several to highlight the 25th anniversary of the International Garden Festival.
Over a year journalist and author Catherine Perrin had the opportunity to visit with architect Pierre Thibault many projects that he designed in very diffferent places. Among the place they visited together? Les Jardins de Métis, the International Garden Festival and the mouth of the Mitis River, three places where Pierre Thibault and his atelier have worked over the past twenty years. Architect of the Résidence des Stagiaires, the Great Hall, the Jardin territoire for the International Garden Festival in 2001, Pierre has also created many installations and exhibitions at the gardens.
Habiter en Beauté, Ces lieux qui nous font du bien is the fruit of their collaboration. The book that was published last fall has earned praise from critics and readers. It is available at the Garden Shop.
