Autobiography of a Garden

Illustrated lecture and book launch of Patterson Webster's new book on the garden she created on Lake Massawippi in the Eastern Townships.

Autobiography of a Garden follows Pat Webster's twenty-five year journey as she transforms a beautiful but conventional country property into a 750-acre landscape what a garden is, or can be. A unique, personal memoir, this book details how a neophyte gardener moved from copying the ideas of other people to learning from them, and finally to striking out on their own. With engaging personal anecdotes, she describes the thinking behing each part of the garden and the examples that guided her, the mishaps and successes she encountered, and her plans for the future.

Copies of the book will be available for purchase for 49,95. The illustrated lecture will be given in English.

Free with admission to the Gardens. This event is sponsored by 3Macs.
