Accompanying musicians: Normand Forget and Mathieu Lussier
Catherine Perrin will read for us a few excerpts from her two most recent novels. The oboist and professor at the Conservatoire de Rimouski, Normand Forget and Perrin’s spouse, the bassoonist Mathieu Lussier, will accompany her reading.
Catherine Perrin hosted the radio show Médium Large between 2011 and 2019. Still on Ici Radio-Canada Première, we can now find her on Sundays for Du côté de chez Catherine, as well as the host of Ma chanson va changer le monde for the summer. In 2014, with Québec-Amérique, she published her first book, Une femme discrète. Catherine then turned towards novels with Trois réveils in 2020, and more recently L’âge des accidents, both published with XYZ. Since 2019, Catherine has been writing a monthly chronicle about music in the daily newspaper La Presse. Catherine Perrin holds a First Prize from the Conservatoire de Montréal and has a parallel career as a harpsichordist on a "modest scale”.
