Since 2007, SIXTRUM has tirelessly explored the world of contemporary percussion, counting dozens of collaborations with composers and several hundred concerts in Canada and on the international scene. Among his recent distinctions are the Opus Prize ''Event of the Year'' for the show Rythmopolis (Montreal 2018), the Coup de coeur prize from the Académie Charles-Cros (FR) for the CD De la percussion and the 'Outstanding Contribution to Theatre' award for the music of the play Angélique (Montreal English TheatreAwards). SIXTRUM is in residence at the Faculty of Music of the University of Montreal and benefits from the support of the Arts Councils of Montreal, Quebec and Canada.Free concert with admission to the Reford Gardens.
