Outdoor Reading Circle (Event in French)

Author-in-residence Claire Moeder invites readers to gather for an outdoor reading circle. This convivial moment of reading and discussion is an opportunity to create a dialogue between the Reford Gardens and literature, and to discover authors bearing new words of the living.

The reading circle proposes to exchange around works revisiting the themes of plants and trees, from a poetic and/or ecofeminist perspective.

Each participant will be invited to choose a book among those proposed by Claire Moeder and to share their reading experience during the circle.

Graciously loaned by the Gardens, the available volumes will be available for pick-up as of May 17 at one of our drop-off points in Métis-sur-Mer, Rimouski or at the Reford Gardens.

Books proposed :

  1. Fleurs, Marco Martella
  2. Botaniste, Marc Jeanson and Charlotte Fauve
  3. Comment faire une danseuse avec un coquelicot, Mona Thomas
  4. L’Iris sauvage, Louise Glück and Marie Olivier
  5. Autoportrait au roitelet, Emily Dickinson
