Discover the Gardens in Winter
5th Annual Winter Wonderland Visit on March 7 and 8

2015-02-12

Les Jardins de Métis are opening the Gardens to the public for the 5th annual special winter visit on Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8 from 12 noon to 4 pm.

Given the popularity of the event last year (where more than 750 visitors strapped on their snowshoes to wander the winter gardens), it did not take much to convince us to host the event over two days this year. The first event in this year at the Reford Gardens, Winter Wonderland allows visitors to see behind the cedar hedges and discover the beauty of the gardens in winter.

With the help of the Metis Beach School, snowshoes will be available free of charge (quantities are limited).Heritage Lower St. Lawrence  partners with Winter Wonderland every year as part of its mandate to promote healthy practices for the region’s residents, Francophone and Anglophone, and to encourage outdoor family activities.
