Opening of the Gardens this weekend, Saturday June 5!

2010-05-31
The Jardins de Métis/Reford Gardens open for their 48th season on Saturday, June 5 at 8:30 am. With the earliest spring on record, the crabapple and azaleas are already in bloom and offer a spectacular floral tableau. You will be surprised to see what is already on display in the gardens.

Designers, musicians, artists and authors will join us during the 2010 season. On Sundays from June to September we are hosting 11 musical brunches and 7 literary teas. The work of 3 artists will be featured in two exhibitions on view in Estevan Lodge. The award-winning film Il était deux fois un jardin (Twice Upon a Garden) will be presented daily. Those wishing to enjoy the beauty of the gardens throughout the summer can purchase a season’s pass ($65 for a family and $45 for individuals) that provides free access to the gardens and activities and discounts on purchases all season long.
