About the Extra-Mural Gardens of the International Garden Festival The program of extra-mural gardens is intended to transform public spaces by installations created by designers of the International Garden Festival. In 2014, the Festival is presenting extra-mural gardens in London, England, (Tiny Taxonomy by Rosetta Elkin), Montreal (Itinerant Pods by North Design Office) and Toronto (Sacré potager by Atelier Barda). Two extra-mural gardens are exhibited near to Les Jardins de Métis at the roundabout in Mont-Joli (La Balançoire by Cédule 40) and in Sainte-Flavie (Souvent me souviens by Deborah Nagan). Photographies by Joan Sullivan from Saint-Valérien were recently added to complete this garden. Les Jardins de Métis are open every day until Sunday, September 28, 2014.
